Tickling the Ivories
Truffaut is my all-time favorite director of the moment. Last night, avoiding work, I decided to read a bunch of Criterion Collection essays. This essay written on Truffaut's Shoot the Piano Player is pretty laudatory in its view towards Truffaut's greatness, and as a Truffaut fan I smiled, happily reminded why I love his stuff.
And look! Charles Aznavour, the star of the film also made another prestigious appearance more than 10 years after Tirez Sur La Pianiste.
